i'm planning what i should do if my HD stop working

    the scope is:
    1) i make daily backups (including all mysql dir) to /home/backups
    2) twice a week I copy them to a samba account
(after mounting the samba server as a /mnt/backup), i do:
    cp -a daily/ /mnt/backup

ok... now let's suppose my HD crashes... how should I work?

    my thoughts:
    1) configuring hostname and DNSs and restart (in order to have accounts already back when I start putting them in the homedir)
    2) downloading all the content from the samba server to a local dir [is it really needed if i mount the server as a directory?]
    3) going to WHM and "Restore Multiple Accounts"
    4) selecting all and OK
    5) after everything is working, doing the basic things: /scripts/upcp, /scripts/updatenow, /scripts/sysup, /scripts/fixeverything, /scripts/exim4

what do you think? would that work ok?
anyone already had this bad experience?
