illegal files

    how can i scan for the likes of mp3's mpg's etc on my vps server?

    certain files that are over a certain limit?

    from shell I think it's:

    find / -name *.mp3

    Location:
    /dev/null
    from the shell, type:

    updatedb

    that will take a short time to index the files on your system, then do a locate for each file type you wish to search for, e.g.:

    locate *.mp3 | more


    - the more command ensures that the output pauses when it becomes too big to fit on the screen
