    Reason: Illegal host/domain name found

    Another:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

    joe@custdomain.net
    local delivery failed

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

    ------ joe@custdomain.net ------

Failed to open file ::Permission denied at /usr/sbin/sendmail line 7.

I ran a test via dnsstuff.com and the domain works fine (dns zone appears in good status) and email test also shos successful connection.

There is a forwarder setup to a yahoo account but that should not be a problem after all.

    I ran the following:

    /scripts/fixcommonproblems
    /scripts/exim4 --force
    /scripts/upcp --force
