im not receiving legitimate mail (exim : sender verify failed)

    Hi,

    I have not receiving mails from determinate addresses, in exim_log I see:

    2004-07-27 18:11:26 H=(titan.remoteserver.net) [201.18.22.60] F=<cpanel@titan.remoteserver.net> rejected RCPT <mymail@mydomain.com>: Sender verify failed


    The domain is delivering all messages to defaul address and I receive mails (but not all)

    Any ideas?

    The problem was fixed.

    In Service Configuration -> Exim Configuration Editor

    Just unckeck the option "Verify the existance of email senders"

    I hope it will be useful if you have the same problem. :)

    If you uncheck that option you may and will receive a lot of spam. The problem resides in the sending servers. They should have their DNS and Mail server properly configured.
