New server running 11.23.6-R27545 on RH 5

When trying to resize an image, it doesn't although there is no indication of a problem.

    Tried converting and get:

    Converting /home/XXXX/public_html/images/churchsign.jpg to /home/XXXX/public_html/images/churchsign.png...........Failed (not a valid image file)!<br>

Although it is a valid jpg and you can edit it in an image program or display it in a browser.

Happens if a jpg, png, or gif image.

The thumbnailer doesn't display any images in a directory although there are images in the directory.

    Any suggestions??

Do you have an ImageMagic package installed on your server (convert command) , if not, install the package via yum/apt-get or compile it from source.

    Ex.

    1) yum install ImageMagick*
    2) apt-get install ImageMagick*
    3) Download source from: ImageMagick: Downloads
