It appears that IMAP doesn't look in /home/$user$/mail/inbox by default. The default polled inbox is /var/mail/$user$ but mail is delivered to /home/$user$/mail/inbox

Also, when setting up a new IMAP account, it searches /home/$user$ for files to add as IMAP folders (that means everthing in the home directory tree including public_html, and mail).

Because of this none of my users can fetch new mail with IMAP, horde or squirrelmail (without changing the folder).

Any ideas?

Hello,

Recompile apache with the 6th option ( /scripts/easyapache ) and select imap module that fixed the problem for me...

Thanks.

I got an answer from Cpanel. For whatever reason, the incorrect imapd binary was in the /usr/local/sbin (I think that's it) directoty. Copying over the imapd binary found under the cpanel directory did it.
