IMAP down constantly on DNS-ONLY system?

I'm consistently getting this error emailed to me from our DNS-ONLY Cpanel box that we just set up :

imap failed @ Sat Dec 26 02:43:09 2009. A restart was attempted automagically.
Service Check Method: [tcp connect]

Cmd Service Check Raw Output:

I can't find anywhere to disable this monitoring, and our external monitoring shows that IMAP is up, but I'm still getting these alerts every 3 minutes. Any thoughts on how to correct it?

Please submit a ticket for this issue so that we may inspect the DNSONLY system that is experiencing the reported symptom; when available, please PM me the new ticket ID number so that I may follow-up internally.

Unless I'm utterly mistaken, DNS-ONLY is just that -- DNS only. I don't recall cPanel installing the IMAP daemon on the DNSONLY version, and if you installed it yourself, it's quite likely you'll run into problems such as this one.
