    Every day, 3:59pm, OOPS!
I get an email, IMAP has failed, automagically restarted.
Anyone have some starting points for me.
    It's on:
    WHM 10.8.0
    cPanel 10.8.1-R113
    CentOS 4.2 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

For what it's worth, many times, not all, ftpd will fall at the same time. Rarely POP will accompany it, but again, rarely.

I've had a few comments from some who say their email to me has bounced, but when I have them resend, it goes. Then again, I think we all know that means zip.

    All comments welcome.

What type of system are you on? Did you check to see if there are any scheduled cron jobs that might eat resources around that time.

It very well could be your depleting resources and there is not memory free for the process in this case (imap) to function properly.

From my knowagle cpanel servers have a service that checks to make sure all processes are at least responding. It doesnt have to be down for it to get restarted. I just has to respond slow enough and it just goes ahead and restarts it.
