I'm selecting IMAP for recompiling apache. But IMAP still can not work. What is the problem?

    Could you elaborate a little?

I imagine you mean that you're trying to include the IMAP module for PHP. If so, what errors do you encounter when trying to use IMAP functions in PHP scripts?

I have been having the same issue. When recompiling Apache from the whm, it seems to completely ignore the fact that the Imap Module (Version 2004g) is selected. When testing it you get an error like :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imap_open() in /home/yourway/public_html/test.php on line 3

Here is the imap related output when I tried to build apache :

checking for cyrus imap support... no

    checking for IMAP support... no
checking for IMAP Kerberos support... no
checking for IMAP SSL support... no

I have found the fix to the issue right now.

The folder "/usr/local/cpanel/src/3rdparty/bsd" does not contain the required "utils/build_prep.pl" file, and also the imap-2004g would not be available.

Please do an "upcp --force" , and try the easyapache.

    This would fix the issue.

Login to server as root and do the following :-

    1. /scripts/upcp --force
    2. /scripts/easyapache
    /scripts/easyapache
    Select 7th option
Select 'XPHP-> Module' and then select IMAP using space bar.
Select 'Exit' and 'Exit' again then say 'Yes' to save.
Let the script execute completely and you will find IMAP module is installed on your machine.

You may get an error at the end of the script "httpd not restarted. Please contact your sysadmin"
    Just do :-
    service httpd stop
    service httpd start

Let us know if you still face any problems.

Thanks for your help. I have checked the url that you sent to me. But i did not touch osticket system. So i guess there is something wrong with the configuration after updating Apache. So is there a way that i can restart perl module? I want to try it and see if it can fix the problem.
