IMAP Setup Primer

Can anyone direct me to a good IMAP server setup primer. I have been searching for one, all the ones I find show me out to set it up on my email client, which isn't what I need.

Then what do you need, exactly? IMAP should already be up and running on a cPanel server.

Are u on cpanel server?
If yes, just reate an account and access it from mail2web.com using IMAP protocol.

The webmail interface in cpanel (Horde/SM) uses IMAP protocol
