    We need a fix for this ASAP. 3 out of 4 servers is suffering from this problem. MailMan is broke and our users are getting the following error when they visit their own mailing list. Please fix this! Its way overdue! This was a result of upgrading to E48 on 4 serves, 3 of which encountered this error during the upgrade. The 4th box seems ok.!>

    We\'re sorry, we hit a bug!
    If you would like to help us identify the problem, please email a copy of this page to the webmaster for this site with a description of what happened. Thanks!

    Thanks for nothing Cpanel. The least you could have done was steer us in the right direction to correct the blunderous update that screwed up our version of Mailman on 3 of our 4 servers. Instead, you kept quite about what it is that you didnt do. We fixed it ourselves. Thanks to the Cpanel update it did not copy 3 pyc files into the mailman directory. You could have told us that??!?? If you would read the forums once your your lives you would realized that people need help immeditately, not later like like you think, and we were not the only ones with this issue. :rolleyes:

    Hi,

    We also had the same problem :
    Goto
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin
    ./newlist
    see the error

    cd /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman
    pico Defaults.py

    DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST = 'srv01.ourhost.com'
    DEFAULT_URL_HOST = 'srv01.ourhost.com'
    DEFAULT_URL_PATTERN = 'http://%s/mailman/'

    we were missing a quote (') in the
    DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST = 'srv01.ourhost.com'

    Which when done solved the issue.

    Thanks.
