    Hi,
We have a client who wants to import a mailman mailing list from his old server - I'm not sure that its a cPanel, but is anyone aware of any complications from importing a mailing list into mailman (cPanel based or not) ?

    Jeff

this is very straight forward. You can save the list settings via command line to a file and then do the opposite on your server. but this requires ssh access on both servers.

    Hello,

Full backup from the control panel will help you. Make a tar of the database, then untar the required files i.e mailing list. This should work.

    Vivek.

hello, check on /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin there are many commands, you can use to list the members in a list then just copy the list and you can add it in the other server mailman in a bit.

    Hope that help
