In need of a new FTP Client

I have made the switch from DW8 on WinXp to BBEdit on Mac OSX I am now in the market for a new FTP Client since BBEdit does not have a built in one as DW did. I was looking at Yummy FTP, Smart FTP and FileZilla. Any suggestions would be great.

If you're just in the market to get the files from your computer to the server (or in reverse), FileZilla is generally the way to go. Its pretty straight forward and saves the sites you connect to most for you.

I was a huge SmartFTP fan for a while, but I see no point in paying for an FTP program when there are options like FileZilla on the market.

I don't really use the FTP feature, but BBEdit does have built-in FTP.

File -> Open from FTP/SFTP Server...

I use an older version of Interarchy (9.0.1) which integrates directly with BBEdit. The latest version (10) was too buggy in my experience and the developer has been unresponsive to most people's contacts for a while now. I just haven't found a comparably FTP app that matches the features I like with Interarchy 9.0.1.

OS X - Transmit (Mac OS X FTP + SFTP + S3 app)

Personally prefer an SSH client (on Windows) that has an integrated FTP program similar to Xshell/Xftp (NetSarang - Product Download). BitVise also (SSH Client).

Also not free - CuteFTP (needs a name change) CuteFTP 9. There is a Mac version.

One note about FileZilla - last I checked the passwords were still being stored clear text.
