Okay I know this has been asked before because I searched and found some posts. However this issue has not really been addressed all that well.

I login to WHM this afternoon everything is fine.

I login to WHM about 4 hours later and low and behold all my accounts are missing! About 40 of them. I go to one of their urls and I get the standard apache page. But I look into ftp and all their files are there. So I look in active/inactive accounts and wala they are all inactive. So I painstakingly look in httpd.conf and I had to add them all manually.

There has to be a solution to this situation. If there is an option in WHM for active/inactive accounts there surely must be an easier way to activate them again?

No idea. Once they were active next they were inactive and not working. This is not the first time this has happened either. :(
