    Hello,

How can I increase the length limit of a file name ? Currently I guess It's 255 or 256 bytes (characters)

I'm using File Manager to do it.

Hello, which file system is your server using? If it's ext4, then the limit is 255 bytes (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ext4). The only way to change it is to change your file system. Out of curiosity, why do you need longer file names?

    Where is file system?
I need to make a path of about 40,000 bytes for some security reasons

Long file name for security reasons? That's not security.

Nothing serious about security. Just to make hotlinking harder

    Hello :)

Have you considered using the HotLink Protection option in cPanel? It's documented at:

    cPanel - HotLink Protection

    Thank you.
