    Hello

    I have VDS. I have the increase the main partition (dev/sda2) which now has 95% (15G 13G 740M 95%)

I bought extra space but do not know how to install it. I can increase the main partition? Or i have to move all the new space?

    I have CENTOS 6.7 x86_64 vmware – WHM 11.50.0 (build 25)

    Current Disk Usage Information

Device Size Used Available Percent Used Mount Point

    /dev/sda1 190M 58M 123M 32% /boot

    /dev/sda2 15G 13G 739M 95% /

    /usr/tmpDSK 485M 11M 449M 3% /tmp

I read How to Manage your Hard Drive Space - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation but ...

    Thank you

    Hello,

To increase your /dev/sda partion you need to contact your vps providers. They will try from their end. If they not help and you want to do then I will suggest you create new partition On new disk which is added and mount that partition on /home2 ,after that you can move your accounts to /home2 Which is mounted on new disk.

Please note that, If you are not sure then contact to your system admin.

    Hello,

I recommend reaching out to your VPS hosting provider to see what they recommend. They might be able to extend the size of the root partition from the VPS hardware node.

    Thank you.
