Increasing special FTP account quota

Hi guys,

Hoping you can help me increase my sftp email disc quota. My FTP accounts are set to unlimited but my sftp is set to 50mb. I just can’t work out how to edit these settings, it says “contact your service provider to increase usage limit” but I have no idea who my provider is as I used to have someone host my emails but he retired.

By "my sftp" account, I assume you mean the main account, the one you login using only the cPanel username? That users quota is the full cPanel account quota. If it's 50MB, your Addon FTP accounts can be unlimited, but only up to 50MB, the size of the acount they reside on.

You will need to locate them to help you with this. If you can't contact them you'd do yourself good by generating a Full Website Bacup, download it, and then go find another WebHost.

I have followed the steps and discovered that my email host is ioflood, not sure who they are of why they are my host but I have sent them an email so hopefully it can be increased.
