increasing the argument list size

    fixit.sh: line 73: /bin/chown: Argument list too long

    How do I increase this argument list size in bash?

    Again, please don't bump threads.

    You cannot change the size, it's OS limited. You'll have to use some other method to achieve what you want. Since this is generic shell advice, I'd suggest some searching on the web.
