    Hi,

i have all of our servers configured to run cPanel's backup system every other day as incremental.

But i wanted that once a week to compress the backup.

I mean the server backups daily as incremental and on sunday it compress the incremental backup as a full backup.

    Can anyone help me?

This wouldn't currently be possible under the existing system. You could always compress the existing backups using a cron once a week to another location (and even scp the files somewhere else as another backup measure).

You might want to post a feature request to have that option available in the existing WHM backup area. The feature request forum is at the following location:

Hi all i think i figured how to do it.

I configured WHM >> Backup >> Configure Backup to creeate incremental backup daily except on sunday. Then i created this script (based on one to generate domkeys) to create a full backup every sunday.

Then just add it to crontab and it's ON!
