Incremental Backups not working via ftp

I'm sending my accounts off site for backup via ftp to a windows box with a spare drive, which seems to work fine, I do it 3-days a week. I have checked the backup retention weekly and monthly, but the files are only being put in the remote daily folder and overwriting the previous version.
What I would ideally like to get is the last daily backup and the last one of the previous week and the previous month - actually, this is what I thought i was going to get!
But I only ever have one file per account on the remote server.

Bump.
Still no solution to this one. It seems that WHM isn't actually creating a new folder or a unique filename to allow a weekly and monthly backups as well as the last current backup on the remote ftp storage

There are plenty of other scripts that will do rsync instead of ftp that will support incremental.
