Why is it that I have two indes.html files in my public_html folder? If I rename one of them I can then delete it. However, If I ftp a new (updated) index.html AND specift to "overwrite existing file" It still leaves two files in the folder.

Are you saying that you have two files with the same name in the same directory? That doesn't seem likely, they must have different names, right?

I have attached a snapshot of the files in public_html. However, I just tried to delete one of them and it let me send it to the trash can. I did not completely delete it but tried to go to my site (onlinehostingsource.com) and it simply gives me access to the file structure. I have not had that happen before.

    ----this is an edit----
I just shecked my site again and it is showing up as it should. Any idea what is doing on??

When you access your site through FTP, do you see two index files as well?

I'm not sure what's going on here, but this seems like a problem with just the file manager. Have you sent a support request in to your hosting company?
