In 11.11.0 cPanel 11.15.0-R17853, I cant find the checkbox to disable/enable index manager in the WHM feature manager. However, there is one in WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-R16999.

I'm not seeing one on the newer builds either. You may want to bring this to the attention of QA by submitting a bug report to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net

I'm sorry cpanelkenneth, I don't believe this is what the user was trying to do.

The Index Manager, which allows an administrator to control whether and how "index" or "file lists" are displayed to site visitors if no file is specified and no index.html .php etc file is present.

"File Manager Directory Selection" is a part of the file manager.

Please let me know if somehow the Index Manager switch is located within the File Manager popup.

Thanks.

bump .. so I can subscribe to this, as I'm looking for where in the WHM I can turn off "Index Display" for a single account.

You can enable or disable the Index Manager for an account by modifying the feature list used by the Account. Look in WHM >> Packages >> Feature Manager
