Hi there,
There have been a bunch of random issues happening recently for one of my client's email account. Sent messages will get clogged, drafts are duplicating as single lines are added, deleted mail won't show up in trash, and individual emails will disappear at random. Regarding most of the issues, I am assuming it is his email client, but maybe they could all be connected.
A recent example that happened is my client sent some emails, they appeared in both drafts and sent, he deleted the duplicates in drafts and stepped away from the computer. When he returned to check an email he had sent, the sent emails from that period had all but disappeared. I attempted to check online, nothing in trash, nothing marked as deleted in sent, and only a select few emails were marked for deletion in drafts, none being the emails in question. The odd thing is the sent emails were received by the recipient so they were sent and placed in the sent folder at one point.
POP3 is not a factor, I am certain. It is possibly his mail client, but I am not able to find anything to pin point it.
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Michael
