Info On Latest Kernel Exploit

    Does anyone have any more info on the Latest Kernel Exploit, there was a post on here the other day, but I can't seem to find it now.

    So if I install grsecurity that will fix it?

    Right now everyone is vulnerable, no matter what kernel they are running?

    As far as I know, grsecurty won't fix this bug. You need to apply the patches to the source of the kernel then compile / install it.

    Yes, probably everyone is affected, as taken from the isec.pl page:
    Version: 2.2 all versions, 2.4 up to and including 2.4.29-pre3, 2.6 up
    to and including 2.6.10

    Is the RHEL/CentOS kernels affected?

    I would say they are, and i doubt it'd be limited to rhel/centos.
