I am running freebsd 5.4 and I went through setting up DNS and i hit myself over the hit repeatdly thinking I messed something up with configuring cpanel.
Then I start browsing through my firewall traffic and notice it's not my rules... packet is coming in and being passed... So I look at `sockstat` output and see it's only binded to 127.0.0.1... I check named.conf and seen it is infact only binding to 127.0.0.1! So only localhost can query the nameserver! Why would cpanel set me up a nameserver that is local only? I mean I obviously need to have a working NS for virtual hosting so clients can add subdomains, etc. So why would cpanel leave it at 127.0.0.1 by default?
