Downgrading Mariadb will be difficult, especially if you already have sites on the server.

You can do a fresh install of cPanel and have install 10.1 to begin with. But this would mean a new server or wiping the one you have,..

To add to @GOT's response, cPanel does not support downgrades of MySQL or MariaDB. You might work with a qualified system administrator to get the assistance you need with your software. If you don't have one you might find one here: System Administration Services
