install backup on another folder

I want to know if I can restore a backup to another folder in public html. I have back up my home directory and now there is problem with my site.

I want to know if I can restore the backed up file on another folder in the same public html.

Please help, I am new to cpanel.

You're able to extract the backup to any place you'd like. You can do this through the file manager as well just move the backup to the folder you want to extract it in and click the extract button.
