Hello,

cPanel requires a fresh Operating System when starting the installation process. You won't be able to install cPanel, or convert existing data, if services such as MySQL or Apache are already active. You can find a full list of requirements at:

Installation Guide - System Requirements - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

However, you could backup your existing data to a remote server, and then utilize the following guide when moving it back into place:

How to Manually Migrate Accounts to cPanel from Unsupported Control Panels - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

We're happy to help answer any questions you have about the manual migration process.

Thanks!
