Is it possible to install cpanel/whm on a CentOS machine and only use Tomcat? I don't like the idea of tomcat working behind apache when our whole application is in Java. Is this possible?

Sure, you can disable anything you are not using in the Service Manager, and install tomcat separately if you want.

If I uninstall Apache, and install Tomcat 6.0.22, what issues will I run into? Do I need to configure something in the cPanel to work with Tomcat only? How do i configure cPanel/WHm to work hand-in-hand with Tomcat? Tomcat can run PHP pages as well now, no need to use Apache since a main portion of our website is a jsp.
