We would like to install cPanel on new server but we don't want to use it for mail.

We only need Apache and PHP. If Java comes with Easy Apache we like to install it as well, though we can install it separately as well.

We are not experts in cPanel. Is there anything we need to know for this setup.?

    Hello,

Yes, it's acceptable to use cPanel for website hosting purposes without using it to host email accounts. You can assign which features are available to your individual accounts using the feature manager within Web Host Manager. It's documented at:

Feature Manager - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

Regarding Java, do you require Tomcat as well? If so, ensure you review the following document:

Tomcat FAQ - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks!
