I am trying to install vbulletin onto my server, asmallorange.com. when doing so the directions tell me to add the /install/install.php extension onto the file. when I do this all cpanel will let me do is check a box for the following:

Directory requires a password to access via the web (you must check this to activate password protection).

vbulletin says a dialog box will pop up, but this doesn't happen. how can I run the php file? I can see it, but can't run it.

    Go on, have a guess
You should be able to browse to it under your down. I'd suggest asking your hosting provider.
