    Hello,
I have a WHM with Apache on my Centos dedicated server.
I would like to install Lighttpd on port 81 as a second webserver and use it as a streaming server.

Does anyone has some experiences with it? Can I break something with Lighttpd installation?

    Thanks for help

    Hello :)

There is no native support for this, and I have not seen much user feedback for this type of setup. Most of the discussions I have seen are regarding replacing Apache with an alternate web server, not running in conjunction with it. I will leave this thread open for user feedback.

    Thank you.

    Thanks Michael,
I don't need any support from WHM to lighttpd, all the settings I can make from shell. There should not be anything what lighttpd can break in WHM /cPanel configuration, no?

    Thx

There is always the potential for conflicts when you install an alternate web server on your system. However, you are welcome to consult with a qualified system administrator for assistance with this custom setup to resolve any issues that arise.

    Thank you.
