    Hello,
I want to install Nagios on my server for monitoring and supervision. I have a server for web hosting, with the control panel WHM/cPanel, there is any specifications that I have to consider before I start the installation?

    Hello,

You should be able to follow their installation instructions for CentOS, like in this document (CentOS 7):

    https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagioscore/docs/Nagios-Core-Installing-On-Centos7.pdf

Note the only package that isn't installed by default is "net-snmp", so you can skip the other package names in the "YUM" command referenced in that document. You may also want to consult with a qualified system administrator if you are uncomfortable installing and configuring the application on your own, as it's not natively supported by cPanel.

    Thank you.
