I am running CentOS 5 with an Intel Pro 10/100/1000 NIC built into the mother board.

We believe the NIC is bad and need to install a new NIC. Does any one have experiance with this?

Is it going to be as simple as installing the new NIC and then giving the NIC the same IP as the old NIC?

Will I need to make changes to WHM/CPANEL?

As long as the new NIC has the same IP address, hostname etc. there should be no issues.
