I have a CentOS 6.6 server installed with MySQL Enterprise.

Now I would like to install WHM, but I fear that the installation process will change the configurations of MySQL that we have created with the customer service Oracle.

Question: the setup of WHM will change the MySQL configuration?

    Hello,

You will need to install cPanel on a fresh operating system. Installing cPanel on top of an existing MySQL installation is not supported. Also, you may find the following document helpful that if you prefer to use a custom version of MySQL as opposed to the version included with cPanel:

How to replace MySQL with Percona

It's intended for users that want to use Percona, but the instructions are helpful if you want to use a custom version of MySQL (e.g. MySQL Enterprise).

    Thank you.
