    1. ok i just installed this fedora core 2 with the dvd
    2. then i used up2date to make sure all my packages are upto date
    3. then i modified the grub.conf to defualt to runlevel 3
    4. then i logged in as root and ran: mkdir /home/cpins | cd /home/cpins | wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest | sh latest
    5. output was:

    Creating directory installd
    Verifying archive integrity... All good.
    Uncompressing cplyer1-cPanel.............................................................................................................
./bootstrap: line 1: strings: command not found
You must update your /etc/yum.conf with a fedora mirror
You can find a list of mirrors here: http://fedora/redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

i have the base url for base, updates-released, updates-testing, development

anything else you wanna know just ask?

    thanks ahead of time
