    Hello,

I'm trying to install cPanel on 2 different VPSes, but it isn't going through as it should be. I tried the installation on dedi and it was completed without any glitches(yes, a dedi is easier to manage than a VPS)

    I'm mainly geting this error:
    [root@server home]# sh latest
    Creating directory installd
Verifying archive integrity...latest: fork: Cannot allocate memory
Error in checksums: is different from 3288460579

And the number 3288460579 is sometimes different, but everytime I can see only memory limit errors. How do I fix\ them, as these are on every vps?

512 MB Guaranteed with 1024 Burst.

Also, I have control over the node. So, if there is something to do with hardware node, I can do that as well.

virtuozzo or open vz ? run

    cat /proc/user_beancounters

to see where your failed resources are
    512 MB is plenty

your kmemsize is a bit to low for cpanel but that was not the barrier unless you rebooted

this is what I run on a 512
    barrier limit
    29842496 32826746

your numproc is way to low
    set it at least 300

and watch it while you install for fails

ok. I did set that myself.

    vzctl 130 --kmemsize/--numproc value --save

I'll post if there is any other problem in installation...

Thanks for your help dalem...Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy new year :)
