I'm running a forum and would like to use caching to help with the resources. I've found the Software->Module installer to install APC (caching) on my cpanel. If I install this will this affect any of the current sites already being used? Is this the best way to cache my SMF forum? Thank you!

Depending on your system, and your knowledge of tweaking a server, you might try other ways to get more performance out of your forum first:

Installing APC itself it shouldn't have any ill affects to the other sites I don't think. You might want to do some reading thru some of the many other threads on this topic first though.
