I am wondering if it is possible to set up CPanel behind a NAT where it has a private IP. I need to do this because the CPanel server would be running in a VMWare virtual machine that cannot get a public IP address.

My plan is to forward all traffic from a public IP address which would be reserved for the server to a private IP address that the server would have been assigned by VMWare. Is it possible to set up a CPanel server in such a way and have everything work? Since all traffic would be forwarded from the public IPs to the private one I would think it would work, but I am not sure.

Also, when setting up the server and it asks for IPs, should I enter in the local private IPs or the public IPs that are being forwarded to the server? Thanks. :)
