I've installed CentOS as minimal installation but unfortunely, this does not provide a LAN conection on my vps, I've tried --force commandand it bypass it correctly.

I was trying all this over CentOS (Installed as Server with GUI)
but got no luck eventually, any way to install it ?

hello, the problem today that I'm having is that my cPanel installation goes installed over my VPS in local network only, at final stage of installation it throws an IP address which is the one I should use to login, whoever this doesn't work, the IP assigned, fox example is 190.XXX.XX.121 which is my current one of the IP I have in my home network which currently is a public IP, but I found that my network change its IP address, for example, for now its spotted at 190.XXX.XX.121 but later in a moment changes at 190.XXX.XX.214, so its imposible to determinate what IP address host my cPanel & Whm installation,

been trying https://190.XXX.XX.121:2087 but nothing
also https://190.XXX.XX.214:2087 also nothing
even trying to see cgi sorry message over 190.XXX.XX.121 or 190.XXX.XX.214

now skipping all the stuff previously explained, I am able to log in over the self assigned IP address by the router, which is 192.168.0.17:2087, also displays the cgi sorry message, what can I do in his case? I'm trying to mount a VPS server at my home and host sites, any comment will be appreciated and i will leave some images to illustrate my problem..

Hello,

The error message referenced above generally happens when the installer runs on a non-minimal instance of CentOS 7. Can you verify that you ran the installation on a minimal instance of CentOS 7? If not, can you reinstall a minimal instance of CentOS 7 and install cPanel again?

Can you verify you configured the network properly? We document the network requirements at:

Installation Guide - System Requirements - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation

Thank you.

To address your second concern of changing IP address. You either have to pay for a static IP address or update your name server every time the IP changes.

Can you access the command line of the VPS, I am assuming yes.

run this command

#service --status-all

Look on the entire output for something like this.

Code:
dovecot (pid 2166) is running...
php-fpm (pid 20908) is running...
php-fpm (pid 20949) is running...
php-fpm is stopped
exim (pid 2188) is running...
init (pid 1) is running...
Usage: filelimits {start|stop|restart|reload}
htcacheclean is stopped
httpd (pid 2250) is running...

I am not a cpanel wizard here like cPanelMichael but this will help to see if everything is working.

Okay the problems was actually fixed, there are some kind of problems due to centos that it drops the internet connection so i searched at google that there's a program named "Screen" is able to manage and restart every connection in terminal, I've installed centos as a basic web server and not as minimal because doing it on minimal it also drops the connection even having screen, I have cPanel installed but now i have to deal with my Dynamic IP, either using DDNS it doesn't allow me to put my server as public and be able to host websites, is there anything that im missing to do ? could be the router ?
i just enable the DMZ option and pointer the self-assigned IP by router of my server, I did the port forward rule in my router but even thath is not working, im really new in this stuff and i appreciate if you guys can help a bit with this since I would like prefer having my own VPS hardware instead paying for it to others

Hello,

It's generally better to utilize a static IP address, as the IP address is also tied to your cPanel license and your account configuration files.

Thank you.

cPanelMicheal since I'm new with this kind of stuff, can you help me providing a guide that helps me setup cPanel & WHM? whenever I'll be able to get a static IP for this, I'll be setting up cPanel & WHM again but I really don't know how setting this...

thank you for reply me!
