installing imagick problem

    hi, i am trying to install imagemagick and imagick module in whm. i installed imagemagick without any problem, but when installing imagick thru whm, i am getting the following error :


    downloading imagick-3.0.1.tgz ...Starting to download imagick-3.0.1.tgz (Unknown size)....done: 3,582 bytesCould not get contents of package "/root/tmp/pear/cache/imagick-3.0.1.tgz". Invalid tgz file.Download of "pecl/imagick" succeeded, but it is not a valid package archiveError: cannot download "pecl/imagick"Download failedinstall failedThe imagick.so object is not in /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626


    can anyone please help?

    Hi there.. Try using /scripts/installimagemagick from shell. See if it still gives the same error.

    no, imagemaick installed alright, looks like the pecl site is down...

    Hello nandinibhaduri,

    Yes their website is down and you can check that PECL :: Error which shows "DB Error: connect failed"

    Hello,

    There website is online now and I have just tried installing imagick without any problem.. using command "pecl install imagick".
