Installing LES on cPanel without causing problems ?

Can LES (http://www.rfxnetworks.com/les.php) be installed on a cPanel system?

This uses lot of security using chmod and chattr, so lot of files will be disabled.. will this affect cPanel, have anyone tested this tool using cPanel ?

It can be used but I highly recommend that you do not. It will cause more
trouble than it is worth with updates and other things.
