Hey there, @Olawunmi,

I would expect an installation of Roundcube on a subdomain to work just fine, as the location it is installed would not affect the behavior. However, the cPanel tools and support are only designed to work with the mail clients that are installed in the default location on the system with cPanel. It would be best to check the local Roundcube error log related to that client if things are not working how you are expecting.
