Hello,
We had a customer today email us about an interesting email problem. They have two separate accounts on this particular server that they manage, lets say:
account1.com
account2.com
Now account1.com has a catch-all inbox configured ([email protected]). He wanted to set up a forwarder from the address [email protected] to [email protected].
Now sending email direct to [email protected] works as the catch all kicks in and forwards the email to the [email protected] mail box. However the forwarding from account2.com does not work, the email is not delivered.
In the end I have advised the customer to forward directly to their catch-all box which seems to do the trick.
My question is, is this normal behaviour, or have we got a misconfiguration? Sorry if the forwarding spaghetti junction is confusing!
