Good evening!
I seem to be experiencing some performance delays when processing backups on most nights. A lot has changed prior to when I first started noticing this -
My backup set to run at 1:30 am.
I checked the backup logs - from what I can tell nothing shows any errors. But when I checked the logs, I compared a "good" night with a "bad" night.
When backing up an account with the size at 322 MB,
This leads me to believe that some other process is eating away at system resources around the time backups are normally running. But without staying up real late, I'm not sure what I can do to track it down. I just know the load stays higher, longer:

Aside from looking at cryptic graphs of system load, is there some place I can look to try and determine what might be causing my performance delays in the backup process?
Thank you for any direction you can provide!
I seem to be experiencing some performance delays when processing backups on most nights. A lot has changed prior to when I first started noticing this -
- Upgraded to 11.42
- Upgrade MySQL to 5.6
- Started backing up System Files

I checked the backup logs - from what I can tell nothing shows any errors. But when I checked the logs, I compared a "good" night with a "bad" night.
When backing up an account with the size at 322 MB,
- A bad night showed 72 lines of dots during the Archive process.
- On a good night, it showed just 7 lines of dots during the Archive process.
This leads me to believe that some other process is eating away at system resources around the time backups are normally running. But without staying up real late, I'm not sure what I can do to track it down. I just know the load stays higher, longer:
