    I'm running FreeBSD 6.2 on AMD64, WHM 11.1.0 cPanel 11.4.18-R14158.

I'm seeing the following in the security report:

    > +WARNING pid 56514 (cpanel): ioctl sign-extension ioctl
    > ffffffffc0206911

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

    Thanks!

Is it happening alot or just once?. 64 bit O/S's still need alot of work, these driver errors could be anything. If it was a "cpanel" task, it could have been several different things talking to any number of drivers at that time.

If the system is stable but you see a few of these now and then, keep an accurate record and you might want to see if the errors are the same each time.

Its probably getting them from var/log/messages or something during the backend "daily" run. If you can track the time the error is being produced it might help find out what is causing it. Maybe manually "cat" the message logs to "grep" for the error, unless "daily" is producing the error itself.
