Not sure the right forum, but...

Ioncube was working fine. Not sure if related, but made some server changes through configserver firewall. Now Ioncube is not loading. Undid all the changes, but ioncube still not loading:

Was working, then stopped. Now I get the following error:

Site error: the file /home/xxxxx/public_html/estore/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

    Ioncube is installed:

    /$ find . -name "ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so" -print
    ./usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so
    ./usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/php/54/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so
    ./usr/local/installatron/lib/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so

But, does not show up in phpinfo AND...

    /usr/local$ php m.
Failed loading /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so: /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Could not open input file: m.

    Any ideas why???

    Thanx

    Couple extra notes:

    /$ cat /usr/local/lib/php.ini|grep IonCube
    zend_extension=/usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so

    /$ php -v
Failed loading /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so: /usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    Sorry forgot to update
Did figure out the problem, although a little strange
Learned that if you enable suPHP, ioncube will not load
But, even after disabling suPHP had to uninstall ioncube through Easyapache, recompile and then reinstall and recompile with ioncube. Funny thing though, thsi time Easyapache now loads ioncube loader 4.7 rather than 5.4.

But all good and all works
