Ioncube Vanished!!

I've just upgraded to PHP 4.4.2......and IonCube has vanished!! Everything else is fine, but my subscription service no longer works

It is selected in Tweak Settings, but does not work, and is not listed in PHPinfo.

Probably a simple answer, as I've obviously had it working in the past.
