Hello, hopefully I am in the correct area, however I think I may not be. I am very very new to cpanel, and just installed it last night.
When I login to cPanel WHM and I click list accounts, I find my account l click on the cPanel icon, but I am not taken to my web address to login, I am always showing my external IP address for everthing -
i.e. 1.2.3.4:2087/cpress...... I for the life of me can not figure this out. I have my hostname setup and everything, as well as chose to create A records for the NS as well as hostname. I am not sure what I am doing incorrectly and any advice would be much appreciated.

    Hello :)

I have moved this over to the general cPanel/WHM discussions forum. You mentioned that your external IP address appears. Could you let us know what IP address or URL you are expecting to see when you click on the cPanel icon? It may be helpful if you attach an image of what appears.

    Thank you.
