    Hi.

I wanted to add a new ip address in whm, i went to "Main >> IP Functions >> Add a New IP Address" and added it. but after rebuilding the ip address pool it said "System has 0 free ips.", "and when i go to Main >> IP Functions >> Show or Delete Current IP Addresses" the new ip addresses are in red color and i have no option to delete or refresh them. would you please let me know what it means and what i should do to have my new ip addresses usable?

    Thanks.

    FIXED :)

    in /etc/wwwacct.conf :

    change line:
    ETHDEV (it had no value)
    to
    ETHDEV venet0

This worked for me after I had to switch to the secondary nic on a live install. I just switched the settings in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 to ifcfg-eth1, copied the generic ifcfg-eth1 to ifcfg-eth0 and removed the MAC address line. Then edited the /etc/wwwacct.conf so that the line ethdev was now 'ethdev eth1'. '/etc/init.d/ipaliases reload' and you're back in business.
